As an Office Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice while supporting the clinical and administrative teams. You will play a key role in maintaining efficient workflows, managing practice performance, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Manage day-to-day office operations to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency
- Oversee revenue cycle activities, including billing, payment entry, patient statements, and aging buckets
- Provide oversight of patient scheduling and practice management system (PMS) functions
- Oversee payroll processes and maintain accurate employee records
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to improve productivity and efficiency
- Coordinate staff schedules, meetings, and appointments
- Provide training, coaching, and development opportunities to support team performance
- Lead team management efforts and foster a collaborative, productive work environment
- Support medical and dental office management functions as needed while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and proactively address operational challenges
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
- Previous dental office management experience preferred
- Experience with a dental practice management system required; Dox experience specifically preferred
- Strong experience with dental coding, billing, insurance, and revenue cycle management
- Accounts receivable and aging management experience required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the team
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
