Experience & Key Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance benefits and explain coverage and financial details clearly and compassionately.
• Review treatment fees, payment options, and create customized payment plans for patients and families.
• Assist families with understanding treatment costs and financial responsibilities prior to beginning care.
• Process patient payments and maintain accurate financial records in the practice management system.
• Work collaboratively with the front desk, clinical team, and scheduling staff to support seamless patient experiences.
• Communicate professionally with patients regarding billing questions, insurance claims, and account status.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
  
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in dental or medical financial coordination or patient billing preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Comfort discussing financial arrangements and insurance coverage with patients and families.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Proficiency with practice management software and standard office technology.
