Duties
- Set up and adjust dies in stamping presses according to specifications.
- Operate and monitor stamping presses during production runs.
- Perform routine maintenance on dies and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers to verify part dimensions.
- Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings for accurate die setup.
- Collaborate with the assembly line team to ensure seamless workflow.
- Troubleshoot issues related to die performance and make necessary adjustments.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently during the production process.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards within the manufacturing facility.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Die Setter or in a similar role within a manufacturing facility.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their application in manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and CAD designs accurately.
- Experience with materials handling in a production environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team on the assembly line.
