What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Lines Account Executive position at Specialized Recruiting Group?
Responsibilities:
- Closely evaluate each individual insured's needs and recommend adequate coverages and services.
- Use AMS 360 for management of all accounts including policy information, documentation, claims information, submissions, and more.
- Use insurance carrier’s online quoting systems to quote new business as well as remarket renewal business.
- Communicate with carrier underwriters when working on new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
- Keep clients' accounts updated, well documented, and organized on agency management system.
- Develop and maintain knowledge on all insurance carriers' products, coverages, and services available to the clients.
- Effectively manage desk and workflow everyday getting quotes and endorsements processed in a timely manner.
- Communicate with insured and insurance carriers claims departments in the event of a claim.
- Prepare Premium Finance Agreements and maintain accounting for insureds.
- Work with producers to create, modify, and maintain a profitable and comprehensive insurance program for each insured.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in insurance service for commercial lines preferred
- Minimum high school education
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to connect with people and have outstanding relationship skills
- Organization, prioritization and multitasking skills
- Effective and persuasive communication skills to explain the facts and logic used to arrive at decisions in a way that the insured understands
- Written skills to compose clear, succinct descriptions when posting activities and drafting correspondence
- Excellent telephone communication skills
- PC skills, experience with agency management systems and company-based programs
- Knowledge of the AMS360 agency processing system preferred but not required
Pay: $40,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
