The Specialized Recruiting Group of Olympia is now hiring for a part-time Certified Payroll Specialist for a cabinet manufacturing company based out of Tumwater, WA. The schedule will be part time, working 20-32 hours per week. The compensation for this position will range from $24-$26/hr DOE.Key Responsibilities: Process payroll accurately and timely for all employees, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Utilize QuickBooks to manage and maintain payroll records Prepare and submit certified payroll reports as required by state and federal regulations. Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve any issues or discrepancies, including those involving sub-contractors. Assist with the management of employee timekeeping systems. Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll information. Support additional clerical and administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, data entry, and office organization. Collaborate with HR, accounting, and project management teams to ensure seamless payroll and administrative operations Qualifications: Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification or equivalent experience.
