Base salary of $70,000/year commission
We are partnering with an environmental services organization that is seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join their team. This position will focus primarily on outbound sales efforts, including prospecting, cold outreach, lead generation, and developing relationships with both prospective and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily outbound sales calls to prospective customers to identify new business opportunities
- Develop new customer relationships through cold calling, networking, lead follow-up, and proactive outreach
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with current and prospective customers
- Understand customer needs and provide recommendations for appropriate products and services
- Consistently follow up on leads and sales opportunities in a timely manner
- Accurately document customer interactions, sales activity, and account information within CRM systems
- Achieve or exceed established sales goals, activity targets, and performance expectations
- Partner with internal teams to support customer needs and ensure a positive customer experience
- Prepare customer quotes, proposals, and other sales-related documentation as needed
- Stay current on company services, industry trends, and competitive market activity
Qualifications
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, business development, or outbound calling preferred
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and engaging with new prospects
- Ability to handle objections, overcome rejection, and maintain a persistent approach
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to effectively manage time and priorities
- Proficient with computers, email platforms, and CRM systems
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in B2B sales
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, sales tracking tools, and pipeline management
- Demonstrated success achieving sales goals, quotas, or key performance indicators (KPIs)
