Network Architect
Location: Oklahoma City, OK (Corporate Headquarters)
Work Model: Hybrid Onsite (80% onsite expectation)
About the Role
We are seeking a senior-level Network Architect to lead the design, evolution, and optimization of a large enterprise network environment. This role sits at the intersection of architecture, strategy, and hands-on technical leadership, with direct influence over network design decisions, platform selection, and long-term infrastructure roadmap.
You will serve as the architectural authority for network systems across the organization—partnering closely with internal teams and external vendors to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available network solutions that support a distributed, business-critical environment.
This position is based at the corporate headquarters in Oklahoma City and requires a strong onsite presence to support collaboration and execution.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Lead enterprise network architecture efforts, from requirements gathering through design and implementation
- Evaluate current network infrastructure and define future-state architecture aligned with business growth and security objectives
- Design and maintain scalable, resilient, and secure network solutions
- Create and maintain network diagrams, standards, documentation, and implementation plans
- Configure, optimize, and support enterprise networking platforms including Cisco, Meraki, F5, Palo Alto, and related technologies
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex network issues and incidents
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to network engineers and technicians
- Perform capacity planning, lifecycle management, and upgrade recommendations
- Partner with vendors to evaluate technologies, lead proofs of concept, and guide purchasing decisions
- Stay current on networking trends, security practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the environment
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Graduate degree preferred
- 10–15 years of enterprise network experience, with significant time spent in architecture and design
Technical Skill Set
- Advanced experience with Cisco (routing/switching), Meraki, F5, Palo Alto
- Strong understanding of routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, DNS, IPAM, and network security
- Exposure to Check Point, Cradlepoint, and VoIP platforms (e.g., Mitel) is a plus
- Experience with network automation, scripting, monitoring, and management tools
- CCNP preferred (or equivalent real-world expertise)
