 POSITION OVERVIEW

Specialized Products Company (SPC) is looking for a seasoned Sales Leader that will be responsible for leading and growing a high performing sales team. This is a hybrid-focused role that requires the ability to develop and implement new sales processes, tools, and strategies for your team, as well as the ability to lead from the front by developing new business and strategic partnerships in key accounts.


 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies targeting new customer acquisition. Lead the sales team in executing these strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Actively participate in the sales process to drive new business acquisition and strategic partnerships in key enterprise accounts.
  • Monitor industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Grow, mentor, and manage a small sales team. Provide coaching and training to enhance individual and team performance.
  • Implement compensation plans for sales team members.
  • Implement and oversee sales processes, CRM utilization, and other sales tools to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with operations to streamline workflows and improve productivity.
  • Establish clear sales goals and KPIs. Monitor pipeline as well as performance against targets, providing regular feedback and adjustments as necessary.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and support for sales and cross-selling initiatives.


 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of seven years experience in leading sales teams, as well as a proven track record being an individual contributor.
  • Experience developing and successfully executing sales strategies and plans.
  • Experience in B2B Wholesale and Retail distribution selling.
  • Experience in selling to Power Utilities, Telecom / Fiber Optic Utility contractors. (Bonus points for experience selling into Datacenters.)
  • Strong understanding of sales operations, CRM systems, pipeline and sales analytics.
  • Experience with Netsuite ERP preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a hands-on approach to leadership.

  • Pay Range: $150K base commission plan


Salary : $150,000
