Job Duties
- Oversee and maintain Conflict Minerals, USMCA (United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement), Korean-US Free trade agreement, Australia-US trade agreement, UK-Russia Sanctions, MFG affidavits, Prop 65 as well as other programs.
- Manages information flow by researching, recording, and analyzing data.
- Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.
- Trains and educates employees on legal changes and updates to compliance guidelines.
- Gathers and analyzes information skillfully and works well in group problem solving situations.
- Manage and facilitate the Safety Committee and Program.
- Manage company environmental compliance with EPA.
- Investigate Injury/Illness/Near Miss situations and follow up as needed.
- Observes all safety procedures and reports potentially unsafe conditions.
- Advise measures to minimize hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
- Hazardous waste reporting
Requirements
- Possess strong analytical skills, including the ability to communicate findings in a concise and comprehensible manner.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be assertive, consistent, and courteous in enforcing policies.
- Teach and collaborate with teams.
- Must be flexible, readily adapt to change, self-motivated and work well within a team environment.
- Possess strong organizational skills, detail, and goal oriented.
- Possess the ability to analyze, organize, and compile data.
- Working knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Read and understand process documents and industry standards.
- High School, GED or Vocational School required; college degree preferred.
- 2-3 years Manufacturing experience preferred.
