CNC Programmer

Overview
We're looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to develop and optimize the machining programs that keep our shop floor running. You'll work from engineering drawings and customer specifications to write, prove out, and refine CNC programs for our mills and lathes — and partner closely with our machinists, engineering, and quality teams to deliver precise parts on time.

What You'll Do

• Develop, write, and edit CNC programs (G-code) for mills and lathes from engineering drawings, 3D models, and customer specifications
• Use CAD/CAM software to build and optimize toolpaths and machining strategies
• Select tooling, fixturing, work-holding, speeds, and feeds, and determine the sequence of operations
• Set up machines and prove out new programs, including first-article runs
• Troubleshoot and refine existing programs to improve cycle time, tool life, and part quality
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and customer specs for a wide range of materials
• Maintain the program library, setup sheets, and supporting documentation
• Collaborate with operators, machinists, engineering, and quality to resolve issues and support continuous improvement

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED
• [3 ] years of hands-on CNC programming experience (mill and/or lathe)
• Proficiency with CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, GibbsCAM, or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T
• Strong shop math and confidence with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and comfortable in a custom, high-mix environment
• Experience with [Fanuc / Haas / Mazak / Okuma] controls
• Multi-axis and/or live-tooling experience
• Background machining a variety of materials — aluminum, stainless, copper, brass, and plastics
• Experience in low-volume, high-mix or custom-job-shop production
• [3 ] years of hands-on CNC programming experience (mill and/or lathe)
• Proficiency with CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, Gibbs CAM, or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T
• Strong shop math and confidence with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and comfortable in a custom, high-mix environment

Pay: $31.00 - $36.00 per hour
