Supervisory Responsibilities: No FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Summary: To create shop sheets and drawings for the production of doors, frames and etc. Communicate in a professional manner with customers, production and other employees to ensure accurate product fabrication.
Update information in the FileMaker computer system and follow-up on jobs that are in hold, on an as needed basis. Complete other projects as assigned.
Key Job Responsibilities:
? Create work orders for production from drawings and order forms supplied by customers.
? Work with customers to provide them with the correct product for their application.
? Handle any special projects that are assigned.
? Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with internal and external customers
Position Requirements:
? High school Diploma/GED.
? Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests.
? Strong verbal and written communication skills.
? Experience with Microsoft Office Applications.
? High energy with a sense of urgency.
Primary Physical Requirements:
? Frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate office equipment, and reach with hands and arms.
? Frequently required to talk and hear.
? Frequently required to sit for long periods of time.
? Required to occasionally stand and walk.
? Occasionally required to lift, push, pull and/or move up to (20lbs)
? Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Required Safety Equipment:
? Safety glasses are always required on the production floor.
? Hearing protection is required in designated areas.
