Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00-5:00
ABOUT US
Special C.H.E.E.R.S. is a heart-centered, trauma-informed nonprofit providing equine-assisted experiences for children and families with special needs. Our mission is rooted in connection, regulation, hope, and belonging.
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Administrative Assistant to support our Founder & Executive Director during a season of growth.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Manage calendar, scheduling, and administrative support
- Organize emails, documents, and nonprofit records
- Assist with grants, board coordination, and donor communications
- Support programs, events, and volunteer coordination
- Provide professional, warm communication with stakeholders
- Assist and support marketing and social media
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Mature Executive Functioning
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to anticipate needs and manage multiple priorities
- Professional, dependable, and emotionally intelligent
- Comfortable in a mission-driven, trauma-informed environment
- Tech-savvy (Google Workspace; Canva a plus)
- Comfort around animals and outdoor environments preferred
