Spec Tool Company is seeking a hands-on, dependable Facilities & Maintenance Technician to help keep our manufacturing facility safe, clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, is mechanically inclined, and takes pride in maintaining a professional work environment. You'll play an important role in supporting facility operations, preventive maintenance activities, and the overall appearance and functionality of our manufacturing facility.

What You'll Do
- Support preventive maintenance activities on facility and production equipment
- Perform routine building maintenance and minor repairs
- Conduct facility and equipment inspections
- Replace filters and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Assist with painting, light plumbing repairs, and general facility upkeep
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace throughout the facility
- Assist with grounds maintenance, snow removal, and seasonal outdoor projects
- Organize maintenance tools, inventory, and supplies
- Support maintenance technicians with repair projects and facility improvements
- Remove scrap, trash, and recyclable materials as needed
- Operate forklifts and other equipment (training provided)
- Identify and report safety concerns and maintenance issues

Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work throughout the shift
Preferred
- Manufacturing, facilities, construction, maintenance, or industrial experience
- Forklift experience
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, or building systems

Pay
Starting Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
Pay will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
