What You’ll Do:
- Clean assigned areas in the Hospital using a variety of supplies, equipment, and cleaning solutions in accordance with departmental standards, policies, and procedures.
- Assist nursing staff by setting up certain equipment and devices as needed.
- Practice safe handling of infectious waste in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc. in assigned area(s).
- Stock linen shelves and ensure that clean linen is delivered to nursing units on carts, as well as collect and receive soiled linen to be washed.
What We’re Looking For:
Required:
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently to complete assigned duties
Preferred:
- 1-3 years’ experience in Environmental Services in a healthcare setting
