Introduction: We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Consultant- Pre-Sales to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting business development by understanding client security requirements, designing appropriate cybersecurity solutions, and leading technical discussions, presentations, and proposals.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers, sales teams, and business stakeholders to understand cybersecurity requirements, challenges, and business objectives.
- Prepare RFP/RFI responses, proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), solution presentations, architecture diagrams, and BOMs.
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) for prospective clients.
- Collaborate with sales, delivery, engineering, and cybersecurity teams to develop accurate and competitive solutions.
- Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle, including discovery, solution design, proposal, negotiation, and handover to delivery.
- Work with internal team to develop solution architecture and recommendations across areas such as Network Security, Cloud Security, IAM, SOC, SIEM, EDR/XDR, Vulnerability Management, Zero Trust, SASE, DLP, and Application Security.
- Stay current with emerging cybersecurity technologies, threats, regulations, and market trends.
- Work with technology partners/vendors to evaluate products and create integrated cybersecurity solutions.
- Support account teams with effort estimation, pricing inputs, technical differentiators, and competitive positioning.
Requirements:
Required Skills:
- 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity Pre-Sales, Security Consulting, Solution Architecture, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Cybersecurity Architecture, Network Security, Cloud Security, IAM, SOC, SIEM, EDR/XDR, and Vulnerability Management.
- Experience with security technologies such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Security, Splunk, Sentinel, Okta, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform security concepts.
- Understanding of Zero Trust, SASE, CASB, DLP, WAF, MFA, PAM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.
- Experience responding to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs and developing technical proposals.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to explain complex cybersecurity concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, solutioning, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, Security , PCNSE, Fortinet, or cloud security certifications are preferred.
- Experience working with enterprise customers across industries such as Banking & Financial Services and/or Government.
- Experience supporting large-scale cybersecurity transformation and managed security service engagements.
