Spear Education is seeking a skilled NetSuite Administrator or Developer with hands-on experience in administration, customization, and optimization of NetSuite ERP. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scripting or development within NetSuite and exposure to eCommerce platforms, particularly BigCommerce, is a strong plus.
This role bridges business operations and technology by maintaining and enhancing our ERP system to meet evolving business needs. You will work cross-functionally with finance, operations, IT, and other teams to ensure system efficiency, integrity, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary administrator for NetSuite ERP including user management, roles/permissions, dashboards, and saved searches.
- Customize and configure NetSuite modules to meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain SuiteScript (1.0/2.0) for workflows, custom records, and integrations.
- Support data imports/exports using CSV, SuiteTalk (Web Services), and RESTlets.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues; manage system upgrades and patches.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Maintain documentation for processes, customizations, and integrations.
- Assist in integrating NetSuite with other platforms, including BigCommerce, via APIs or middleware.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience as a NetSuite Administrator or Developer.
- Proficiency in SuiteScript (1.0 & 2.0), SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, RESTlets.
- Solid understanding of NetSuite modules such as Finance, Inventory, Order Management, CRM.
- Experience managing roles, permissions, workflows, saved searches, and reports.
- Familiarity with system integration methods and best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with BigCommerce platform or other eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, etc.).
- Experience with integration tools such as Celigo, Dell Boomi, or MuleSoft.
- Understanding of business processes in a SaaS, retail, or wholesale distribution environment.
- NetSuite Administrator or SuiteFoundation Certification.
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and basic DevOps practices.
