About the Role:
Spear AI seeks a Data Scientist to advance applied machine learning and analytics within the an AI Task Force. This position blends technical expertise with mission-focused applications to deliver actionable intelligence.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop, validate, and deploy tailored machine learning models for national security missions.
Analyze extensive datasets to discover actionable insights and automation opportunities.
Collaborate closely with engineers and software teams to prototype and operationalize data solutions.
Optimize algorithms and validate model performance in secure, operational environments.
Required Experience:
Active TS/SCI clearance.
3–7 years experience in data science, ideally within national security contexts.
Proficiency in Python and core data science tools (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow).
Experience operating within secure, classified computing environments.
Ability to convert ambiguous operational needs into structured analytic tasks.
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with DoD/IC data systems and security standards.
