Virtual School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - 1099 Contract

We are seeking a California-based, licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual therapy to K-12 students for the 2025–2026 school year. This 1099 contract position is ideal for self-motivated professionals who are passionate about serving students in a fully remote, school-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy via secure online platforms

• Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations

• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans

• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes

• Attend virtual IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff and families

• Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy to meet student goals

Requirements:

• Must reside in California

• Must hold an active California SLP license

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)

• At least 1 year of experience in a school setting

• Strong technology skills, reliable internet connection and computer with webcam

• Organized, independent, and confident in managing a virtual caseload

• HIPAA-compliant home office setup

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior teletherapy experience using platforms like Zoom, Presence, or TheraPlatform

• Bilingual (especially Spanish) is a plus

• Experience writing and updating IEPs in a California school setting
