We are seeking a Tree Care Associate to support the care and stewardship of Boston’s urban forest. This is an opportunity to join our team in a hands-on role working closely with staff under the supervision of the Community Tree Specialist. The Tree Care Associate will water and maintain newly planted trees across the city, assist with tree plantings and giveaway events, support volunteer stewardship efforts, and help track and evaluate tree health. The role also includes maintaining tools and equipment, contributing to community outreach (including NeighborWoods communications), and participating in trainings and weekly staff collaboration.
Details: This is a full-time, one-year position (40 hours/week) with a salary of $58,000, plus health benefits, retirement, and paid time off. The position involves regular fieldwork across Boston and use of a company pickup truck equipped for tree watering and care.
