Who are we ?
We’re building a high-performance solar revenue team and hiring a Sales Manager to lead it.
This is not a “culture and vibes” role. This is a numbers-and-execution role.
You’ll run the operating system for revenue: daily KPIs, coaching cadence, hiring velocity, script discipline, pipeline hygiene, and performance accountability across an in-house setter team closers.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Phoenix, AZ. The Solar sales Manager will oversee the sales team, develop sales strategies, and drive business growth by identifying potential customers and building lasting relationships. Responsibilities include training and mentoring sales staff, conducting client consultations to understand their needs, delivering customized solutions, and meeting sales targets. The role also involves staying updated on industry trends and collaborating with other departments to enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience, with a focus on customer relationship management and business development
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Leadership and team management abilities to train, motivate, and supervise sales teams
- Knowledge of roofing and window products, as well as an understanding of the solar industry trends
- Organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Proficiency in CRM tools and basic computer applications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in construction, home improvement, or solar industries is an advantage
Expectations
- Daily KPI management: set activity standards, track performance, run scoreboard, enforce targets
- Coaching cadence: structured 1:1s, call reviews, roleplays, objection handling, skill development
- Setter closer performance: tighten handoffs, raise show rate, improve conversion, reduce fallout
- Script discipline: implement/iterate scripts, ensure adherence, and coach to clean execution
- Hiring velocity: recruit, interview, and onboard fast—without lowering the bar
- Accountability: clear expectations, documented performance plans, consequences recognition
- Process data: CRM compliance, pipeline integrity, lead flow feedback loops, trend analysis
- Collaboration: work with marketing/ops/leadership to improve lead quality, throughput, and customer experience
