Work Shifts:
1st Shift- 5:00am-1:00pm
2nd Shift- 12:00pm-8:00pm
Overtime on Saturdays should be expected.
The Manufacturing Specialist I - Production is an entry-level role responsible for performing basic production tasks such as masking, final assembly, box build, hand coating/touch up, and hand potting. This position works under close supervision to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic mechanical or electronic assembly tasks following detailed instructions.
- Support masking, hand coating, and touch-up activities under supervision.
- Assist in box build and final assembly operations using standard tools.
- Prepare materials and work areas to support production flow.
- Inspect own work for obvious defects and report issues to supervisors.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
- Perform other duties or support other areas as needed based on business requirements or production flow.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to follow written instructions.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to interpret work instructions, documentation, and safety requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or ISO 13485 standards.
- Exposure to electronics assembly processes.

Physical Requirements / Essential Functions
- Ability to sit, stand, and use hands for extended periods.

- Lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Work with small parts, tools, and fixtures under supervision.

Compensation: This is a non-exempt position. Compensation may be based on experience, qualifications, and skillset in the electronic manufacturing industry.
