What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Locator position at Spartanburg Water & Sewer?
Under general supervision, locates and marks collection and distribution facilities and appurtenances associated with water mains, water service lines, gravity collection lines, force mains, and manholes and provides 360 degree positive response in accordance with the provisions of the South Carolina Underground Utility Damage Prevention Act. Work involves conducting periodic field checks and reporting findings to supervisor. Reports to assigned Collection and Distribution Field Coordinator.
