At Bearden-Josey Center for Breast Health, we use the most advanced technology available to provide screening mammograms and aid in the detection and diagnosis of breast cancer. Department Description
We are a comprehensive breast imaging center providing services across nine fixed locations and two Mobile Mammography Units. The expert and caring staff at Bearden-Josey Center for Breast Health are fellowship-trained, board-certified specialists who focus on breast health. We conduct hundreds of mammograms each week and diagnose and treat more than four hundred patients each year.
Under the supervision of a Radiologist, you will utilize specialized knowledge and skills to produce high-quality mammographic images for screening and/or diagnosis, invasive breast procedures, and DEXA exams for specified patient population.
As an imaging professional, you’ll be aligned with the latest technology, evidence-based medicine, and clinical research.
How do we set you up for success?
For technologists with no prior mammography experience we offer a comprehensive 12-week training program that will equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to provide high-quality breast care.
For experienced technologists we provide an abbreviated training program that includes a comprehensive review of our protocols, machines, and IT platforms.
Whether you are experienced in mammography or looking to enter into a new chapter, we believe in setting all members of our team up for success! We look forward to reviewing your application!
