- Electrical Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in the manufacturing plant, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical malfunctions, identify issues, and implement solutions in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Installations: Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and systems for machinery and production lines.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes and regulations, as well as company safety standards.
- Preventive Maintenance: Participate in the development and execution of a preventive maintenance program to enhance equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Equipment Upgrades: Assist in the installation of new electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to improve plant efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production and maintenance teams to resolve electrical issues that affect production schedules.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work completed, including parts used, equipment serviced, and safety checks performed.
- Ability: To work overtime or take calls when needed.
- Required: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a formal apprenticeship or technical training in electrical systems is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, with a strong background in electrical maintenance.
Computer, Technical, Mechanical, Mathematical and/or Scientific Skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations required to complete all principle duties/assigned tasks.
- Advanced technical and working knowledge of repair and maintenance for the following equipment: Hydraulics/Pneumatics, Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, and CNC.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with various team members and management.
Problem Solving skills and Decision-Making Skills
- Proficient problem-solving skills. Ability to utilize knowledge and experience to solve complex mechanical problems, and to trouble shoot pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical failures.
- Proficient decision-making skills. Ability to investigate, analyze and make decisions on how to solve basic to complex problems/issues and to provide solutions to create and improve processes.
- Proficient team and task management skills, demonstrating the ability to: 1) coordinate and delegate work activities, 2) positively influence team performance, productivity, quality and safety goals, and
