About The Role
We're looking for a customer-focused, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at our Bel Air headquarters. In this role, you'll be the go-to resource for customers reaching out by phone, email, and chat. You'll process orders, verify charges, resolve issues, and work closely with internal departments to make sure every order is accurate and delivered on time. This is a fast-paced role where communication, organization, and follow-through make a real difference for our customers and our team.
You'll build your product knowledge through ongoing training sessions and work alongside a collaborative team that values service and accountability. No prior flooring experience is needed. We'll teach you the products and the process.

What You'll Do
- Handle incoming customer inquiries by phone, email, and chat, providing accurate information and resolving issues promptly
- Accurately process customer orders and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely fulfillment
- Verify tariff charges on orders and confirm accuracy with customers
- Address and resolve customer complaints, escalating complex issues to supervisors when necessary
- Stay informed about company products and services, and provide customers with detailed product information and recommendations
- Attend product training sessions (offered at 9:00 AM or 4:00 PM) and complete follow-up quizzes
- Work closely with team members and other departments to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Participate in weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly team huddles
- Consistently meet or exceed performance goals, including response time, resolution time, and customer satisfaction scores
What You Need
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A customer-first mindset and a genuine passion for service
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- A team player with a collaborative approach
- Ability to work onsite in Bel Air, MD, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Previous customer service experience, especially in a phone, email, or chat-based role
- Experience with order entry or an ERP system
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
- Experience working toward performance metrics such as response time or customer satisfaction scores
- Background in flooring, building materials, distribution, or a B2B environment
