Job Summary:

The Plant Manager provides overall leadership for the Mississippi manufacturing facility and is accountable for the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of the plant. This role leads cross-functional operations including production, maintenance, materials, quality, and logistics while developing leaders and driving continuous improvement. As the senior site leader, the Plant Manager translates business objectives into operational results that support customer commitments, employee engagement, and sustainable organizational growth.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree, equivalent education, military training, apprenticeship, or demonstrated combination of education and progressively responsible manufacturing leadership experience.

· Experience working with industrial robotic systems (such as FANUC, ABB, Yaskawa/Motoman, Kawasaki, Universal Robots, or similar platforms) within a manufacturing environment is preferred.

· Ability to safely perform work within a manufacturing and warehouse environment

Preferred Qualifications:

· Degree or advanced education related to engineering, manufacturing, operations, business, supply chain, or a related discipline.

· Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Project Management, or other continuous improvement training or certifications

Required Experience:

· Progressive leadership experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment with responsibility for operational performance.

· Experience leading multiple functional areas including production, maintenance, quality, materials, and logistics.

· Experience managing budgets, staffing, operational metrics, production schedules, and customer commitments.

· Demonstrated experience developing supervisors and building high-performing teams.

· Experience using operational performance metrics to drive business decisions and continuous improvement.

Preferred Experience:

· Experience leading a small to mid-sized manufacturing facility with broad operational responsibilities.

· Experience supporting composite manufacturing, industrial fabrication, aerospace, automotive, or related manufacturing operations.

· Experience supporting facility startup, expansion, or significant operational growth.

· Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives resulting in measurable operational improvements.

· Experience working within ISO, customer quality systems, or regulated manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead overall plant operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, financial, and customer performance objectives.

· Establish operational priorities and allocate resources to maximize production efficiency, equipment utilization, and workforce effectiveness.

· Develop, coach, and hold leaders accountable while fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

· Direct production, maintenance, materials management, quality assurance, and logistics activities to ensure efficient and reliable manufacturing operations.

· Manage plant financial performance through effective labor planning, inventory management, cost control, capital planning, and operational decision making.

· Build collaborative relationships with customers, suppliers, and corporate leadership to support business growth and operational success.

· Champion continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, productivity, quality, throughput, and customer satisfaction.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, environmental requirements, safety standards, and applicable regulatory obligations while maintaining a positive workplace culture.

Environmental, Health & Safety Requirements

· Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental compliance requirements.

· Properly use required PPE and safely operate tools, machinery, and diagnostic equipment.

· Identify, report, and correct unsafe conditions and hazardous work practices.

· Participate in safety investigations, risk assessments, and corrective action activities.

· Work in industrial manufacturing environments with exposure to moving machinery, electrical systems, noise, heat, vibration, dust, chemicals, and varying temperatures.

· Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with housekeeping and 5S standards.

· Participate in required safety training, emergency response procedures, and incident reporting activities.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $149,000.00 per year
