Position Overview
The Electrical Engineer will play a key role in developing and supporting power distribution and electrical system designs for active construction projects. This position works closely with project leadership and field teams to ensure designs are practical, efficient, and aligned with real-world installation needs.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and support electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects including power distribution and lighting
• Develop and review drawings, layouts, and technical documentation
• Perform system sizing and support equipment selection based on project requirements
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to align design with construction execution
• Participate in coordination efforts across multiple trades to ensure seamless integration
• Review submittals and assist with technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Conduct site visits to gather information and support ongoing project needs
• Assist in identifying cost-effective solutions and improving overall project efficiency
• Support resolution of design challenges and coordination conflicts during construction
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Approximately 5 years of experience in electrical design or construction-related engineering
• Experience working on commercial, industrial, or manufacturing projects preferred
• Familiarity with electrical systems, codes, and industry standards
• Experience with design software such as AutoCAD or Revit is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment & Schedule
• Primarily based in Dearborn, MI with periodic site visits as needed
• Combination of office and field exposure depending on project phase

Salary : $90,000 - $115,000
