Responsibilities
- Control access to the premises by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, to identify potential security risks or breaches
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism and de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe environment
- Perform first aid or CPR when necessary, providing immediate assistance during medical emergencies
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security reports to ensure accurate record-keeping for audits and investigations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Familiarity with security procedures, law enforcement protocols, and emergency response plans
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail during patrols and inspections
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts
