Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Yard Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our operations within the yard . This position involves various tasks related to costumer service, plant knowledge and heavy lifting . Yard Worker will also be responsible for operating heavy equipment and assisting with order picking as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently. is not required but helpful
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer requests accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized yard area, adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to plants and fertilizers
- A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work.
