Shipping and Receiving Manager

Sparta Metal Processing is a growing leader in the metals industry. We are committed to excellence in safety, quality, and service. We’re seeking a motivated Shipping and Receiving Manager to join our team and help ensure our products meet the highest standards.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee inbound grading of various metal products and raw materials.
• Identify and address non-conforming raw materials.
• Inspect all product prior to shipment to ensure quality is met for customers as well as packaging needs.
• Inspect finished goods to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Work with Production Manager to make certain the production schedule ensures all sales are met.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting in Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP.
• Organization and structure of the plant floor.
• Work with administration, commercial, accounting, and IT teams to support business needs.
• Lead safety, housekeeping, and compliance initiatives across the plant.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• 2–5 years of metals, manufacturing, or quality control experience (preferred, not required).
• Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 a plus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
