Job Description
Join our team at Sparrow & Kennedy Tractor Company, as a John Deere Equipment Sales Representative! We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to sell our top-of-the-line John Deere agricultural and turf equipment. In this role, you will build strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored equipment solutions to help them succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively prospect and develop new customer accounts in the agricultural and turf markets.
- Provide expert guidance on John Deere and other short line equipment, including tractors, mowers, utility vehicles, and implements.
- Conduct on-site demonstrations and explain product features and benefits.
- Negotiate sales contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products, financing options, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with the service and parts departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Attend trade shows, agricultural events, and community functions to promote the brand.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in agricultural equipment or a related industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
