Role Description
We are seeking dedicated Security Guards for event based security positions, on-site role located in the Greater Hartford, CT area. THE IMMEDIATE NEED IS FOR MULTIPLE EVENTS IN JUNE, locations in Massachussets and Connecticut. The Security Guard will ensure the safety and security of the assigned premises by performing routine patrols, monitoring access points, and checking for any unauthorized activities. Responsibilities include assisting personnel and visitors with inquiries, responding promptly to incidents, and maintaining accurate records and incident reports. The role requires maintaining a high level of situational awareness and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to interact effectively and professionally with colleagues, clients, and visitors.
- Proven expertise in physical security, personnel security, and private security practices to ensure the safety of individuals and property.
- Ability to stay alert and attentive, with strong observational and incident-reporting skills.
- A valid Connecticut Guard Card is required for CT events.
- Physical fitness to perform security patrols and stand for extended periods as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in security or law enforcement is a plus.
