Responsibilities:
- Document Management: Perform high-volume scanning, faxing, and emailing of sensitive
medical documents. - Digital Integration: Upload and attach scanned documents to database systems and
Electronic Health Records (EHRs) with high accuracy. - Records Organization: Label, sort, and file paperwork into appropriate folders and
designated storage areas. - Physical Archiving: Move and organize "bankers boxes" (up to 30 lbs) containing medical
records for storage or retrieval. - Administrative Support: Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to maintain logs, create basic
reports, and track document status. - Additional tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of HIPAA
regulations regarding patient privacy and data security. - Background Check: Must be able to successfully pass a comprehensive criminal
background check. - Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry 30lb boxes frequently throughout the workday.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel).
- Strong familiarity with office equipment, including multi-function scanners and fax machines.
- Basic understanding of database navigation
- and digital filing structures.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Previous experience in a Healthcare environment is highly preferred.
