Process Control Systems Engineer III

• Program, test, and optimize control systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Develop documents for new systems.
• Design and deploy control networks and panels.
• Recommend system upgrades.
• Participate in testing new equipment.
• Install and upgrade software.
• Respond to emergencies outside normal hours.
• Design and commission PLC-based systems.
• Maintain communication links to IT and SCADA systems.
• Keep backups for disaster recovery.
• Adapt to new technologies.

• Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience ( or High School diploma/equivalent and 6 years of experience, with 4 years in direct control)
• Knowledge of PLC and HMI systems.
• Ability to program control loops and alarms.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Ability to use CADD software.
• Knowledge of process control changes and cost-effectiveness.
• Ability to work with contractors and internal teams.
• Expert knowledge in Wonderware HMI, Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs, SCADA systems, cybersecurity, and instrumentation.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Completion of safety training.
• Designated as emergency personnel.
• Preference for Professional Controls Systems Engineer registration in Maryland and ISA CAP certification.

Pay Range: Salary $120,000.00 to $200,000.00
