Graphic Designer Job Summary:
Sparks Group is looking for a Graphic Designer on behalf of a public authority in Fairfax, VA. As a Graphic Designer, you will apply graphic design and copy layout skills to create visually engaging deliverables such as promotional and branding materials and other print and digital materials. This will be a short-term Contact role (2 months, maybe longer), you'll need to work onsite in Fairfax, VA full-time (5 days a week), and we're looking for an immediate start.
Graphic Designer Responsibilities:
- Uphold branding and identity values for the corporate brand and its sub-brands that position the authority as a leader in its space.
- Maintain a library of high-quality creative work across platforms.
- Assist with production of print assets, emails, digital ads, marketing collateral, materials for press and partners, as well as internal and external presentations.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the creative and production process.
- Produce attractive and effective designs for all forms of media.
- Outsource print projects using dedicated online printing portal.
Graphic Designer Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in design, digital communications, marketing, or related degree.
- 3 years of experience in graphic design/digital design working with a creative team in marketing, advertising, media, or publishing.
- Proven understanding of graphic elements, layouts, and photography.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator minimum).
- Experience in Adobe Premiere is a plus.
- Proficiency in conceptualizing and designing creative assets for social media platforms including, but not limited to, Instagram (in-feed Stories), TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of print and digital best practices (e-commerce, emails, online branding).
- Strong typography skills and clean design aesthetic.
- Strong organization skills with ability to prioritize, communicate, and excel in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask across projects/accounts, and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Salary : $30 - $40
