What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at Sparks Commercial Tire?
Job Description: Sparks Commercial Tire is a family-owned business spanning multiple states that has been in business since 1985. We are looking for a Candidate to change tires ranging from small hand carts up and including some of the largest tires made. Starting pay would depend upon experience BUT no experience is required to start.
Requirements:
1. Clean Driving record and the ability to achieve a Class B CDL (CDL is not required to start.)
2. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening. (We also do random, post-accident, screening per DOT regulations.)
3. Ability to show up on time and work overtime
4. Able to be On Call (We are a 24/7 Business, when on call you must be available to come into work and perform the necessary service required)
5. Able to lift 50-100 pounds frequently and regularly
6. Able to work outside in all Weather conditions
7. Self-motivated
Responsibilities:
1. Tire Service Tech for shop and on-site service
2. Change tires on various machines
3. Provide excellent and professional customer service keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first.
4. Work SAFELY and efficiently
5. Provide detailed and informational paperwork and reports when performing service

Schedule: Monday- Friday (unless On Call)
Education: High School or equivalent (preferred not required)
License/ Certification:
Driver’s License (Required)
