- Sparkling Ponds Winery, nestled in the heart of Lake Erie Wine Country, is seeking a personable and motivated Wine Sales Representative with a passion for both wine and creative food experiences. If you love connecting with customers, sharing your knowledge of wine, and experimenting with new bar food recipes, we’d love to meet you.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell Sparkling Ponds wines in our tasting room
- Engage guests with wine tastings, pairings, and winery stories to create memorable experiences.
- Prepare and serve small plates and bar-style food; assist in developing and testing new menu recipes.
- Host food-and-wine pairing events, seasonal specials, and festivals.
- Maintain knowledge of our wine portfolio and educate customers on wine styles and production methods.
- Support marketing efforts through social media content, wine club promotions, and onsite events.
- Qualifications:
- Previous experience in wine sales, bartending, or hospitality preferred.
- Hands-on cooking or food preparation background, with enthusiasm for creating and testing new recipes.
- Excellent communication and people skills; comfortable leading tastings and interacting with visitors.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about local food and wine culture.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
