What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Exterior Cleaning Technician position at Sparkle Squad of Charleston?

Sparkle Squad is one of North America's largest window cleaning companies, serving homes and businesses since 2012. Our Charleston team is growing fast, and we need a proven leader to run crews in the field.
You'll lead a 2–3 person crew. You're responsible for the quality, safety, and customer experience on every job you run, and you'll help train the next generation of techs.
- Lead daily jobs: window cleaning, soft washing, pressure washing, gutters, and holiday lighting
- Run the job site: set up, assign tasks, check quality, and walk the property with the customer at the end
- Train new techs and hold the team to our standards
- Own vehicle and equipment care, including pressure washers, pumps, and water-fed poles
- Enforce ladder, roof, and chemical safety
- Report job status, issues, and upsell opportunities to the ops team
- Have 1 years in exterior cleaning, landscaping, construction, or a similar trade
- Have led a crew, or are ready to step up and do it
- Show up every day and set the example
- Can troubleshoot equipment and solve problems on site
- Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record (you'll drive company vans and tow trailers)
- Communicate well with customers and teammates
- $23–$25/hour plus tips and performance bonuses
- A path to crew supervisor and operations roles as we grow
- Full-time hours with overtime opportunities
