We’re currently seeking a Part-Time Front Desk (Patient Care) Specialist to join our Oviedo team. Position Summary
The Front Desk (Patient Care) Specialist serves as the first point of contact for our patients — providing exceptional customer service, ensuring efficient scheduling, and supporting our providers and administrative staff with day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients in a professional, compassionate, and welcoming manner.
- Schedule appointments, manage patient check-ins/check-outs, and verify insurance information.
- Collect copays and update patient records accurately in the EHR system.
- Communicate efficiently with clinical, billing, and administrative teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Handle incoming calls, messages, and patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
- Support compliance with HIPAA and practice policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a medical office or mental-health setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with technology (EHR, email, scheduling tools).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- Availability for part-time hours, primarily during weekdays, with flexibility for coverage as needed.

Location: Oviedo, FL
Schedule: Part-Time (approx. 25 hours/week) Mon-Fridays 1-6pm
Compensation: US$16-US$18 per hour, based on experience
