Position: Production Supervisor (3rd Shift)

Shift: 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM; expected to arrive 30–60 minutes prior and stay 30–60 minutes after shift; weekend work as needed)

Position Summary:
Supervises the activities of production personnel engaged in all facets of the manufacturing function. This role oversees 3rd shift production operations within the Corrugating Department and ensures a safe, productive work environment.
Position Responsibilities:
- Implements operational strategies to support company objectives in safety, productivity, quality, customer service, cost, and profitability
- Monitors key performance metrics including machine and labor efficiencies; provides guidance to ensure goals are met
- Supports capacity planning to meet internal and external customer demands
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversees staffing, training, employee relations, and performance management for production teams
- Works closely with direct reports to develop and enhance team performance
- Interacts with internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and support customer needs
- Maintains knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and technical advancements
Position Requirements:
- High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in the paper/corrugate industry or related manufacturing environment required
- Prior supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership and coaching ability
- Experience in a union environment preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, processes, and safety standards
- Understanding of production workflows, equipment, and continuous improvement practices
- Ability to manage both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives within a manufacturing setting
