POSITION SUMMARY:

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting & Treasury Manager (Direct Hire) to lead accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and shared services functions for a multi-site, multi-entity manufacturing organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position will oversee the monthly close, consolidated financial reporting, balance sheet integrity, cash forecasting, external audits, and accounting operations while partnering with Finance and Operations leadership to support business performance and growth.

Position Responsibilities:

• Accounting Leadership: Lead the monthly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, close calendars, and accurate financial reporting across multiple entities.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and oversee monthly financial statements, consolidated reporting, management reporting packages, lender reporting, and ownership reporting.
• Balance Sheet & Controls: Maintain balance sheet integrity, reconciliation standards, and internal controls across cash, AP, AR, inventory, and intercompany accounts.
• Treasury & Cash Forecasting: Manage banking administration, cash transfers, account access, credit cards, cash balances, and weekly/13-week cash forecasts.
• Shared Services: Lead Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Application, and Staff Accounting functions while establishing consistent processes, KPIs, and service expectations.
• Audit Coordination: Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, managing audit timelines, documentation, schedules, PBC requests, and auditor communications.
• Insurance Administration: Coordinate insurance renewals, exposure reporting, policy administration, claims activity, premiums, and supporting documentation.
• Accounting Integration: Oversee accounting activities for sister companies and ensure accurate integration into consolidated financial reporting.
• Process Improvement: Improve close efficiency, reporting accuracy, reconciliations, cash forecasting, automation, and scalable accounting processes.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with the CFO, Director of Finance, and Operations teams to align financial reporting, operational performance, working capital, and cash flow requirements.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with 8 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Previous experience managing or leading accounting personnel.
• Strong experience with month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and multi-entity accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Inventory accounting and multi-site experience preferred.
• ERP experience required; Plex experience preferred.
• Treasury operations, cash forecasting, and external audit coordination experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain financial accuracy, and work effectively with executive and cross-functional teams.
• CPA strongly preferred.
