We're looking for an experienced Estimator with a strong electrical, civil, or construction background to support transportation and municipal infrastructure projects. This is a great opportunity to work alongside a Senior Estimator with the potential to grow into a long-term leadership role.
What You'll Do
- Prepare estimates for traffic signals, ITS, roadway lighting, pump stations, airport electrical, and civil projects
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications
- Estimate electrical and civil construction components
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes
- Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
- Identify project risks, constructability concerns, and value-engineering opportunities
- Collaborate with PMs, field operations, vendors, and leadership
- Prepare competitive bids and support project handoffs
What We're Looking For
- 5–7 years of construction-related experience
- Estimating, project management, field supervision, or skilled trades experience
- Ability to read plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Working knowledge of electrical and/or civil construction
- Strong Excel, mathematical, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience with DOT, municipal, county, or public works projects is a plus
Preferred: Traffic Signal Technician, Journeyman Electrician, Civil/Construction background, or experience estimating traffic signals, ITS, roadway lighting, drainage, curb, sidewalk, or roadway improvements.
