The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations during the night shift, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk responsibilities and performing nightly audits. Duties
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while providing outstanding customer service to guests.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly, maintaining a high level of satisfaction.
- Operate phone systems to assist guests and coordinate with other departments as necessary.
- Prepare reports on occupancy rates, revenue, and other key metrics for management review.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Collaborate with the day staff to ensure seamless transitions between shifts.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in night audit or similar roles within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to accommodate diverse clientele.
- Knowledge of hotel management software and phone systems is an advantage.
- A background in hospitality management or related fields is beneficial.
