Summer Intern - Information Technology

SPARGO, Inc. is a full-service event management company, offering a suite of services that support the production of trade shows, conventions, conferences, symposiums, and seminars.

We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Information Technology Intern to join our team for the summer. This internship offers hands-on experience in IT, systems administration, cybersecurity, and/or infrastructure management, depending on your area of interest and our current projects.

Duration: 8-12 Weeks, Summer 2025

1. Provide technical support for hardware, software and network issues.
2. Assist with system installations, configurations, and updates.
3. Help maintain IT documentation including manuals and network diagrams.
4. Participate in cybersecurity monitoring and incident response tasks.
5. Collaborate with team members on special IT projects and process improvements.
6. Support users through ticketing systems or in-person assistance.

1. Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
2. Basic understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and troubleshooting.
3. Familiarity with Windows and/or Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and networking fundamentals.
4. Effective communication and critical thinking skills.
5. Eagerness to learn and ability to work independently or in a team environment.

1. Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
2. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
3. Previous internship or project experience in IT or tech support.
