Job Description:
The Bookkeeper is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial recordkeeping. This role works within Global Shop ERP to record and track financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate financial records while supporting month-end and year-end closing activities and providing financial reporting support to company leadership
Responsibilities:
- Record financial transactions and maintain daily financial transactions
- Process accounts payable including vendor bills and payments
- Generate and send customer invoices and manage accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements and ensure transactions are properly categorized
- Process payroll and maintain payroll records
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
- Support leadership with financial tracking, reporting, and budgeting as needed
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation in Global Shop ERP
Minimum Previous Experience:
- 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with ERP or accounting software (Global Shop experience a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business preferred, or equivalent work experience
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
