BCBA- Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Sparc is seeking a full-time BCBA to provide behavioral services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential, community, and vocational programs. You will join a collaborative interdisciplinary team that values ethical practice, person-centered supports, and high-quality service delivery.
In this role, you will conduct assessments, develop individualized Behavior Support Plans, train staff, and ensure compliance with Illinois DHS regulations, Medicaid Waiver standards, and Human Rights requirements. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop person-centered Behavior Support Plans.
  • Train and coach DSPs, QIDPs, and residential staff on plan implementation and data collection.
  • Monitor behavioral data, adjust interventions, and ensure treatment fidelity.
  • Participate in team meetings, annual staffing reviews, and Human Rights Committee reviews.
  • Collaborate with nursing, QIDPs, guardians, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Prepare quarterly progress reports for required committee review.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and alignment with Sparc’s mission and values.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
  • Active BCBA certification required.
  • Experience with adults with IDD (residential or community-based preferred).
  • Strong assessment, data-analysis, and staff training skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to CILA homes.

  • Attend and satisfactorily complete all training requirements.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed/required.
  • Ability to connect to the internet and have a microphone and camera to attend meetings.
Benefits:
  • Starting Salary $87,000 to $92,000 (annualized). Competitive salary will be based on several factors, including experience, advanced education, & Certifications.
  • Comprehensive benefits package includes medical, prescription, group-paid life, dental, and vision insurance for full-time.
  • Pay rate increases for every 5 years of Sparc service
  • Ten to twenty-five (10-25) paid vacation days annually based on years of service.
  • Employees earn three (3) paid personal days pro-rated based on start date.
  • A minimum of eleven (11) paid holidays with the ability to earn additional leave time for holidays worked.
  • Employees earn eight to twelve (8-12) paid sick days annually based on years of service.

Working Conditions:
  • Services may occur in residential CILAs, vocational sites, community settings, and administrative offices. Some locations may expose Sparc staff to mild to moderately high noise levels.
  • Safety, infection control, emergency, and security procedures for each work site must be followed.
  • Staff in this role may be exposed:
    • Individuals with behavioral challenges or aggression
    • Bodily fluids, bloodborne pathogens, and communicable diseases
    • Mild to moderate noise levels and varying environmental conditions

Salary : $87,000 - $92,000
