What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapy Aide position at SPARC Physical Therapy?
We are an outpatient Physical Therapy practice located in the South Bay looking for someone that would be a great addition to our clinic! We are currently looking for a highly motivated, compassionate individual interested in becoming a physical therapy aide/front desk receptionist. The position will entail of both front office and aide duties, including these key responsibilities:
- Great patient communication and professional etiquette
- Be a team player
- Supervision of exercises with patients directed by a licensed physical therapist
- Appointment scheduling
- Patient check-in/check-out
- Answering phone calls and taking messages
- May assist with insurance benefits and eligibility
- Payment collections
- Printing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing of treatment rooms, gym
Job qualifications:
- Phenomenal customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High school diploma required; some college or college degree preferred
- Self-motivated and possessing strong work ethic
- Proficient with computer skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Prior physical therapy aide experience a plus, but not mandatory
