What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stay & Play Teacher position at Spanish Schoolhouse LLC?

Hours are part-time position is Monday - Friday 1:45PM - 6:00PM.
As a STAY & PLAY TEACHER, you get to:
- Create a safe, nurturing, and welcoming learning environment for our preschoolers.
- Assist in preparing fun and engaging lesson plans geared toward hands-on learning.
- Share the Latin culture & Spanish language with the children.
- Reinforce classroom rules and expectations using positive discipline.
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement lessons and activities.
- Help each child reach their full potential through individualized attention engaging them in conversation and hands-on learning.
- Document children's daily activities and developmental growth, and keep parents informed of any daily problems or issues.
- Maintain positive relationships and communication with students, parents, and team members at all times.

Requirements of a STAY & PLAY AFTERNOON TEACHER include:
- A high school degree or equivalent required college degree a plus
- Speak, read, and write Spanish fluently
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and early childhood development
- Dependable and able to work Monday-Friday 1:45 PM-6:00 PM
Extra credit for:
- Previous teaching experience with young children
- Experience in early childhood development
- Basic English proficiency
