Job Summary
We are seeking experienced SWISS CNC Machinists to join a precision manufacturing team in West Chester, PA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating SWISS CNC machines, performing offsets, changing tooling, and conducting precision inspections in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for machinists with strong blueprint reading skills and experience working with tight-tolerance components.
Key Responsibilities
CNC Machine Operation
- Operate SWISS CNC machines safely and efficiently
- Monitor machine performance during production runs
- Load and unload raw materials and finished components
- Maintain production efficiency and quality standards
- Perform routine machine cleaning and housekeeping
Inspection & Quality Control
- Inspect machined parts per blueprint specifications
- Use precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Verify critical dimensions and tolerances
- Complete inspection and quality documentation accurately
Offsets & Tooling
- Perform wear offsets and dimensional adjustments independently
- Change tooling and monitor tool life
- Troubleshoot minor machining issues
- Support setup personnel during production runs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience
- Experience operating SWISS CNC machines preferred
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Precision inspection and measurement experience
- Ability to make offsets independently
- Tool change experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
