Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP IBP IO-DP Lead Consultant to drive a large-scale redesign and optimization initiative for an enterprise SAP IBP landscape. This is a critical, hands-on leadership role focused on enhancing and re-architecting existing Demand Planning (DP) and Inventory Optimization (IO) processes within a highly mature SAP environment.

The ideal candidate will bring deep functional and technical expertise in SAP IBP, strong supply chain planning knowledge, and the ability to lead complex transformation initiatives from strategy through execution.

Key Responsibilities

SAP IBP Solution Architecture & Configuration

• Lead end-to-end design, blueprinting, and configuration of SAP IBP Demand Planning (DP) and Inventory Optimization (IO) solutions.
• Configure Planning Areas, Key Figures, Attributes, Master Data Types, Planning Operators, and complex calculations.
• Redesign and optimize existing planning workflows for scalability and performance.

Demand Planning Expertise

• Develop and enhance advanced forecasting models, including:
  • Statistical Forecasting
  • Demand Sensing
  • ABC/XYZ Segmentation
  • Outlier Detection & Correction
  • Forecast Accuracy Optimization

Inventory Optimization

• Design and implement multi-echelon inventory optimization strategies across global supply networks.
• Configure safety stock optimization models and inventory policies aligned with business objectives.

Integration & Data Management

• Define and manage integration architecture between SAP IBP and SAP S/4HANA using:
  • SAP CI-DS / CPI-DS
  • RTI (Real-Time Integration)
• Ensure accurate and efficient master and transactional data flows.

Stakeholder & Delivery Leadership

• Partner with business stakeholders, supply chain leaders, and executive teams to translate business requirements into scalable SAP IBP solutions.
• Lead workshops, solution discussions, and roadmap planning sessions.
• Provide guidance to functional and technical teams throughout implementation and support phases.

Required Qualifications

• 10 years of overall SAP Supply Chain experience.
• Minimum 5 years leading enterprise-scale SAP IBP implementations.
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
  • SAP IBP Demand Planning (DP)
  • SAP IBP Inventory Optimization (IO)
  • Planning Areas
  • Key Figures
  • Master Data Configuration
• Deep understanding of:
  • Statistical Forecasting
  • Multi-echelon Inventory Optimization
  • Safety Stock Calculations
  • Supply Chain Planning Processes
• Proven experience with:
  • SAP CI-DS / CPI-DS / CPI integrations
  • SAP S/4HANA integration
• Exposure to:
  • Optimization engines such as Gurobi
  • SAP BTP
  • SAP PP/DS integration
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
